A racing certainty
One of France’s leading racehorse training establishments, Grosbois near Paris, now has an illuminated track lit exclusively by Thorn EP145 lanterns on Diabolo columns.
The 75 Victorian style suspended lanterns include a horizontal lamp compartment complete with aluminium optic for enhanced performance. This results in increased training time whilst emphasing the charm of the site, which is situated within the picturesque Grosbois Estate. Grosbois is an internationally recognised centre for the training and care of trotters (harness racers). Its facilities - 40 km of bridleways, two 1000m tracks of cinder and one 1500m track of sand - cater for nearly 1500 horses.
