The heart of any pendant luminaire is its reflector system and the Glacier II now comes with a choice of four - three direct/indirect light distributions and one direct. The former range from prismatic and opal glass to the prismatic polycarbonate (large only), each with an individual aesthetic appearance.
 
The latter is a conventional aluminium reflector, giving a radial batwing distribution, particularly suitable for large, open areas.
 
This means that for any commercial and contract lighting application, Glacier II offers the right solution, particularly excelling in Office areas and Retail environments, where combined with other Thorn products linked in design, such as Graffiti, Cruz and Sienna offer a complete lighting solution using the universal design theme.
