INTRODUCTION
Notes:
The logic set out below is followed as closely as possible for all Indoor/Outdoor Product ranges within the
Thorn Lighting portfolio. As all ranges differ in scope the requirement for each element of the catalogue number
is defined range by range, where some ranges require more fields than others.
The examples above show for each element of the catalogue number how some of the most common product
features are defined.
In some instances the same abbreviation may be used for different features.
eg B = Black, B = Blue or MP = Microprism technology, MP = Microperforated. This is not the case if both these
features are common to the same product range and an extra letter may be used to differentiate each version.
