Chancellor of the Exchequer visits Spennymoor

Thorn Lighting was pleased to host the Chancellor of the Exchequer, Rishi Sunak, at their manufacturing facility in Spennymoor at the end of May.

As part of HM Treasury’s ‘Treasury Connect’ sessions, the Chancellor met with employees to discuss the cost of living and the support package announced by the government at the end of May to combat rising energy prices in the UK.

After hosting a Q&A session, the Chancellor then toured the factory, talkin to employees about the indoor and outdoor luminaires manufactured there.
