Thorn shines new light on iconic Durham Cathedral

Thorn's Contrast floodlights are set to shine new light onto the historic Durham Cathedral in the UK.

This new lighting scheme will be more efficient and reduce carbon emissions while sympathetically lighting the building's historic architecture.

Contrast floodlights offer a distinctive, long-lasting modern design, and with RGBW and wireless GMX and RDM (Remote Device Management), Cathedral staff will be able to change colour themes remotely. 

This programme of works is the first phase of a larger project which looks to renew lighting systems of nearby landmarks in future.
