Ready-to-install LED light engine concept for upgrading or enhancing the performance of existing lighting fixtures

Helps cities achieve their sustainability goals by reducing their carbon footprint through a circular economy, while providing significant energy savings. Directly retrofits Thorn lanterns ORACLE, ISARO, DECOSTREET and CHRISTIAN IV.
Preserves heirloom pieces that add character to urban spaces and reduces both the amount of material needed for a relighting scheme and the installation time. Similarly shaped lanterns from other lighting brands can be studied on request.
Made of an IP66 optical block with a gear that can be selected, as required using Thorn's myProduct configurator. Adaptation kits with dedicated fixing available as accessories.
Achieves high efficient LED lighting with Thorn's R-PEC light engine and large optic / CCT diversity. Available with D4i connected driver for further connectivity purposes or with IP67 driver with dimming capability.
Ensures conformity to EN 13201 and ULOR<1 achieving modern lighting expectations in quality and safety without upward light pollution.
Plastic free packaging to avoid non-recyclable waste. No use of glue to ensure the highest recyclability rating.

Materials and Finish

Suitable for C5 (standard corrosion class according to ISO 9223 : 2012) without additional coating.
Housing: die-cast aluminium EN AC-44300 with <0,1% of copper to drastically reduce the risk of corrosion.
Glass: 4 mm thick
Fitting kit and fixing screws: stainless steel (plate painted in grey for seamless aesthetic integration into existing fixtures)

Installation and Mounting

With the appropriate fitting kit, suitable for mounting on existing lighting fixtures (LED or HID technology) by replacing existing light engine and gear. Light engine and fitting kits delivered separately for installation in site or at the warehouse.
